I\u2019m using <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2C5oNyl\">these Maternity Pads from NatraCare.<\/a> Not all pads are created equal. In fact many generic pads can contain bleach, chlorine or other ingredients companies may not disclose. Natracare pads are organic natural pads free from harsh chemicals such as chlorine or bleach. This means they are gentler on your skin and I personally think better for you too. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You\u2019ll also need <\/span>Postpartum Sitz Bath Herbs.&nbsp;<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">I\u2019m using <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2sHwIxM\">Earth Mama Organic Herbal Sitz Bath<\/a>. They are <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">natural herbal compresses filled with organic herbs traditionally used to soothe and comfort \u201cdown there\u201d during pregnancy or after childbirth. They are packed in easy-to-use, individual herbal sachets, each one is perfect for one use. They are USDA organic and contain no parabens or artificial fragrance. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><em>You&#8217;ll also need:<\/em>&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Glass Dish,&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A Tea Kettle, Wax Paper &amp;&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bags To Store To Store The Pads In&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><b>DIRECTIONS<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In a glass dish add one sitz bath packet. Boil water and pour over packet in dish. Let herbs steep for about 6 &#8211; 8 minutes. On a baking sheet lay pads and soak with herbal water. Add pads to ziplock bag or bag of choice and store in freezer until ready to use. You can also wrap in wax paper before storing in bags which helps them to not stick together.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.healthygrocerygirl.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/IG-600x900.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-47718\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><b><span class=\"has-inline-color has-theme-palette-3-color\">NO. 2 ALOE VERA, WTICH HAZEL &amp; ESSENTIAL OIL PADSICLES<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You\u2019ll need <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2C5oNyl\">pads<\/a>, aloe vera, <a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2BBMfSG\">alcohol-free witch hazel<\/a> and optional lavender essential oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><b>DIRECTIONS<\/b><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apply aloe vera over pad.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Then pour about 1 teaspoon of&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/amzn.to\/2BBMfSG\">alcohol-free witch hazel<\/a> over each pad.&nbsp;<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Add a drop of lavender essential oil to each pad. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wrap in wax paper and freeze in a bag. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-theme-palette-3-color\">NO. 3 BASIC PADSICLES<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This option is simply soaking pads in filtered water and freezing. I\u2019m not going to show you a step-by-step since this one is pretty straight forward. It\u2019s a good option if you can\u2019t find any of the products above, you\u2019re on a tight budget or you have sensitive skin. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3><span style=\"color: #ff9900;\"><b><span class=\"has-inline-color has-theme-palette-3-color\">IMPORTANT TIPS<\/span><\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Thaw pads for 5 &#8211; 10 minutes before using to avoid the padsicles from sticking to your skin &#8211; ouch!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Your hot buns will cause these pad to thaw and leak water.
